Manage cost accounting function for food production facility; responsible for KPIs around consumption of materials and usage, cycle count reporting, variance analysis and margin analysisWork closely with Plant Controller on plant spend, reporting and leading meetings with other leaders/stakeholders throughout the plantMaintain all costing systems and informationSupport monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, budgeting, forecasting and closeResolve standard cost issues, make vs. buy analysis and manage all aspects of fixed assetsAd-hoc projects as assignedSenior Cost Accountant Requirements:4+ years of cost accounting experienceManufacturing/food manufacturing industry experience is a major plusSelf-starter that will take the reigns of cost accounting function and not need much handholdingStrong communicator that is comfortable leading meetings with plant leaders and can communicate accounting concepts and critical info to non-accounting team members
