Insight Global is looking for a Senior Construction Manager to help support a large engineering consulting company in Santa Clarita, CA. This individual will be responsible for supporting new development's in the Santa Clarita area through organizing, planning and scheduling the construction "start-up through completion" to ensure compliance with plans, specifications and agency regulations.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates construction and site maintenance activities between the client, field engineers, field observation staff, utility companies, other governing agencies and contractor involved in the construction process.
Solicits, reviews, analyzes, and approves proposals from consultants and contractors for design and construction services for the project. Assists in the preparation and review of contract agreements with consultants and contractors selected.
Administers contract agreements throughout the project duration and ensures all obligations are fully executed.
Monitors project schedules throughout duration of project and maintains progress-ensuring milestones are achieved. Balances contract, budget, time, and cost limitations. Tracks project budget status to ensure construction expenditures fall within original estimates.
Certifies payments to contractors and consultants and processes invoices.
Supports the Project Manager and Project Engineer in and/or performs the processing and resolution of design and field coordination issues, contract change orders and resolution of claims, etc.
Monitors quality and compliance inspections.
Conducts site meetings with contractor.
Demonstrates full knowledge of the projects status.
Perform in-house project management tasks such as monitoring project schedules and budgets, preparing client invoices, monitoring payment of accounts receivables, etc.
Performs marketing and business development activities; writes proposals and SOQs

- Park Development experience
- Capable of leading confidently in identifying, correcting and/or avoiding potential schedule, budget or quality issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skill
- Education: H.S. Diploma
Nice to Have Skills & Experience - PMP or CM Certification
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
