If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking aSenior Cobol Programmer (FSI / Java / WebSphere)to join our team inJacksonville,Florida (US-FL),United States (US).Job Duties and Responsibilities:Creates and maintains COBOL programs which receive real-time customization input from the Java J2EE component of the application.Reviews application in progress of COBOL development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards.Support assigned production system failures/issues on a timely basis and document corrective action.Participates in investigation and feasibility study of new technology.Perform other related duties as required by IT management.Makes recommendations towards the development of new processes that will improve function or reduce risk.Will lead projects, coordinating efforts among teams, and monitoring performance.Recommends and creates software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems taking full responsibility for bank programs and job streams.Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including technical requirements and flow charts.Good understanding of the domain in current projects will be appreciated.Knowledge of Java, Websphere and other technologies used in mainframe modernization will be an added advantage.Experience in Financial services domain preferable.Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mainframe Development projects3 to 5 years' hands-on experience in Cobol, UNIX, Oracle, SQLMinimum 3 to 8 years of desired experience required.#INDFSINSAbout NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
