This individual will work with a team of developers and other engineers to design, implement, maintain, and grow Zoox's petabyte-scale high performance storage systems, as well as build strategies and then plan and implement solutions around storage and data to enable our robot and AI research efforts. This is a good fit if you enjoy efforts to cooperatively optimize and strike performance vs cost balances for very heavy distributed workloads. The salary range for this position is $193,000 to $243,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
