Responsibilities
• Investigate and resolve customer deductions and chargebacks• Analyze large sets of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and root causes of deductions• Handle customer deductions including promotional discounts, pricing, shipping claims, rebates, freight, product returns, among others• Organize client portfolios and assist in reporting and documenting validated deductions• Partner with other departments to provide financial insight and analysis• Research and reconcile accounts receivable, making necessary adjustments to settle customer disputes• Work with clients to resolve discrepancies in payments for delivered goods• Track disputes in customer payments using specific accounting codes• Settle payment variances and investigate the source• Interact with sales and shipping departments to reduce deductions and collect past-due accounts• Keep track of global accounts and work towards improving delivery service, reducing chargebacks, and improving profits
Requirements
• BS degree in accounting or equivalent experience• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills• Excellent analytical skills• Great problem-solving skills• Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and has multitasking abilities• Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, and ERP software
