What You Will Do:
Be active and engaged on Slack while fostering an engaging community
Commit to facilitating head, heart, or hustle sessions two nights a week for up to 3 hours
Ensure your pod group completes 95% career readiness portfolio
Proactively problem-solving with co-captains and provide constructive feedback
Attend and participate in paid training sessions
Attend captain meetings and check-ins with your PM

This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly-motivated professional to assume a pivotal role in the evolution of a fast-growing, highly-respected organization. Each Senior Captain will be paid as a part-time, hourly COOP employee at a rate of $20 per hour.
Residency Policy
U.S. Residency: As a US-domiciled nonprofit, COOP is unable to support the international tax, legal, and compliance obligations related to international work and residence. All employees must, in addition to satisfying other work-related requirements, physically reside within the United States during the entirety of their employment, as a condition of employment. If an employee travels internationally for pleasure, they may not work while outside of the United States.
In addition to a physical U.S. residence, all employees must reside within commuting distance (approximately two hours) of a COOP Program site located in the following cities (currently as of publication): Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, and San Jose) and within the states of CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, NJ or NY as a condition of employment. Program sites, residency requirements, and permissible states change from time to time at the sole discretion of COOP.
