Senior Bridge Engineer Position
My client, a highly regarded consulting engineering firm, specializes in civil, water/wastewater, environmental, transportation, and construction management services for both public and private sectors. With multiple offices, they are currently seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities
The Senior Bridge Engineer will be an integral part of the Transportation and Infrastructure Team, tasked with:
* Providing technical support and leadership for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, improvement, and/or construction of transportation infrastructure projects.
* Conducting research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of load-bearing structures, such as bridges, roadways, and retaining walls.
* Guiding junior engineers to ensure high-quality work.
* Assisting in the management, growth, and development of the bridge design and inspection team.
* Planning, organizing, and supervising engineering activities on bridge-related projects.
* Representing the firm at meetings and conferences.
* Assisting with technical concepts in proposal development, preliminary design phases, and client presentations.
* Ensuring that engineering services align with professional standards, client requirements, budget control, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and project objectives.
* Providing innovative solutions for designing bridges, transit structures, and other significant structures for highways, county roads, and city streets.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or a related discipline
* 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering, with prior structural or civil design experience.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license (multi-state licensing is a plus).
* Proficiency in structural engineering principles, practices, processes, and design/build applications.
* Extensive experience in bridge and infrastructure planning, design, and program/construction management, including rehabilitation, reconstruction, new design, and construction projects.
* Experience in conducting inspections and investigations in construction and design, applying relevant regulations and policies.
* Expertise in reviewing documents and preparing complex technical deliverables and plans.
* Willingness to travel occasionally based on project-specific requirements.
