Senior Automation Engineer (Team Lead) - Industrial Automation - Salt Lake, Utah

Gryphon Oakwood are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer who will be tasked with growing and developing their own team as well as project assignments. The company are providing engineering and design services to the Industrial sector.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

University degree or technical diploma in Automated Production engineering or Electrical engineering Undergraduate degree in automated production or electrical engineering
10 years of relevant experience as an Automation/Instrumentation Engineer or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Experience in equipment POV and start-up
Experience in programming control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)
Automation experience in the following fields: hydroelectric generating stations, electrical substations in control and protection, and mining processes
Proficiency in project management, technical writing and troubleshooting
Experience in cost estimation
Professional Engineer licensed in UTAH
Asset: Knowledge of PID loop Tuning and process modelling
Asset: Knowledge of PI System.
