Responsibilities
• Appraises real property and mobile homes to determine fair market value and assess taxes• Performs statistical analysis using economic, accounting, and real estate appraisal principles• Appears before appeals boards and courts to defend County appraisals
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in appraisal and taxation process• Equivalent combination of education and experience• Must possess a South Carolina real estate appraiser's license• Must complete twenty-eight (28) hours of continuing education credits biennially• Must possess a valid SC driver's license or have the ability to obtain one prior to employment
