Position Overview: Clean Energy Tax Senior of Planning
We're seeking a dynamic professional for the role of Clean Energy Tax Senior of Planning. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in providing tax support throughout the planning, construction, development, and operation of renewable investments. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combining tax technical expertise with data analytics, transaction support, and compliance to optimize value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with US federal and state tax planning requirements.
- Proactively identify early-stage events to optimize economic benefits.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to maximize tax opportunities and avoid value destruction.
- Support all renewable lifecycle steps, from initial planning to commercial operations.
- Manage planned life cycle structuring and early-stage planning for tax matters.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hand-offs and optimized tax strategies.
Qualifications:
- Curiosity to learn and apply rapidly evolving tax concepts with a business-first mindset.
- Strong partnership tax technical and compliance expertise, with a desire to further develop.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax; Master's degree / CPA preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience in complex tax issues with a national accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.
