Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert in the area of public assistance cost allocation plans within the Health practice area

Understand and be an expert in complex state and federal regulations and requirements related to cost allocation

Analyze and interpret federal and state law and regulations

Provide guidance related to cost allocation for public assistance programs including but not limited to Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

Independently manage tasks with limited supervision while meeting and exceeding performance expectations

Develop and deliver progress reports, project management artifacts, and client presentations

Plan, monitor, and manage ongoing tasks

Contribute to proposal writing teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts, and preparing proposal submissions

Prepare other written reports and materials for clients

Qualifications

Experience in public assistance cost allocation, state and federal policy knowledge, and expertise in programs including Medicaid, SNAP, Title IV-E, and TANF required

12+ years of relevant work experience, federal or state level position in subject matter preferred

Bachelor's Degree

Master's Degree, MPA or Government focused MBA preferred

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $110,000-$140,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
