Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
Essential Duties:
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Support funding and disbursement processes.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and post close analysis.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience:
• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Master's degree in accounting a PLUS.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle several tasks in a high-volume, high paced environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP's, IF statements, Pivot tables) required.
• Candidate must have experience in QuickBooks and NetSuite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Responsible and dependable with a polite and professional manner.
• Equipment leasing experience a PLUS.
• 6+ Accounting experience.

Salary Range:
• $80,000-$93,000
