Caterpillar is looking to add a Senior Accountant to our team.Provide technical expertise and perform complex accounting work.Opportunity to learn more about Aftermarket Parts and projects.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Sales Variance support for Aftermarket Parts Pricing team• Analyze impact and have a broader perspective on specific accounting issues• Sox Compliance• Continuous improvement of visualization & analysis using Power BI & Snowflake• Internal Management Accounting• Estimating various forecast and budget scenarios• Consolidation of division results/explanations• Presentation and explanation of results to management• Lead teams addressing complex issues• Handle accounting issues independently
Requirements
• Education/Experience: 4-year degree/5 years of related experience• Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools• Ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports• Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis• Ability to read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material• Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques• Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions• Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques• Ability to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas and information
