Job Title: Senior Accountant

ProScape Lawn & Landscape Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant who will provide financial insight and guidance to enhance performance and process efficiency. You'll be exposed to multiple aspects of ProScape's operations and regularly partner with all of them to put them in the best position for success. Some job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Working independently to manage deadlines and prioritize your workload in a manner that enables you to achieve results
Leading a team providing operational support where you will manage the month-end close process and provide financial analysis that enables our departments to achieve peak performance
Managing Purchase Orders and comparing them to vendor invoices and monthly credit card statements
Completing daily bank reconciliations and researching any discrepancies.
Regularly interacting with the General Manager, Owner/President and Operations Managers and to ensure that the company is achieving their pre-set goals and following financial policies and procedures
Completing invoicing of customers and ensuring payments are properly reconciled by department
Entering journal entries to maintain accounts and financial statement accuracy.
Working closely with the Office Manager to maintain A/R & A/P progress
Working primarily with QuickBooks for entering billing, payments and adjustments
Managing the company's P&L and provide regular reports to the management team (especially the General Manager & Owner/President), both verbally and through Excel workbooks
Managing financial and tax audits, while ensuring compliance with local, state & federal tax law
Compliance with local, state, and federal government filings and payments Desired Experience and Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting 4 years accounting experience Ability to manage people (both directly and indirectly) Ability to address customer issues (both internal and external) Fluency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks Strong analytical skills with ability to make recommendations for action Strong people skills - ability to interact with various functions Strong communication skills – verbal and non-verbal Ability to prioritize multiple projects Prior experience in financial analysis ProScape offers competitive wages ($60k-$70k), profit sharing bonuses, a company matched savings plan, paid time off and holidays.
