Senior Accountant - Hybrid

As a Senior Accountant, you'll handle various responsibilities including preparing diverse journal entries, conducting bank reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in high-risk balance sheet and operating statement accounts. Additionally, you will be responsible for cash forecasting and analysis. You'll play a vital role in supporting the Accounting Department's overall functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting Supervisor for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Prepare and document various journal entries in the general ledger.
- Manage cash receipts and perform bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate and reconcile intercompany activities with affiliated entities.
- Conduct reconciliations and analyses for balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare assigned materials for external audits.
- Cash Forecasting and Analysis
-Implementing and maintaining accrual accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Contribute to special projects from development to completion.
- Undertake additional accounting tasks as assigned.

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is advantageous.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate accounting.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry is a bonus.
