Senior Accountant - General Ledger - Remote

Job Summary:
Join our passionate team as a Senior Accountant focusing on General Ledger tasks, including journal entries and meticulous reconciliation work. Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Oversee customer invoicing and revenue recognition to meet accounting standards and company policies.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses.
Maintain general ledger accounts meticulously, performing necessary reconciliations and adjustments.
Work closely with the Financial Controller to prepare and file sales tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to enhance financial operations' efficiency and effectiveness.
Support financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
Assist the FP&A team with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, ensuring the organization achieves financial goals.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a warehouse or 3PL environment.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Microsoft Excel.
High proficiency in data toolsets like Excel (PowerPivot, Advanced Formulas, Linking to Web and Databricks Data), Databricks, and QuickBooks Online.
Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with financial reporting and revenue recognition.
