Job Description
Our client, a high growth collision repair company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing office in the western suburbs of Chicago. Generating approximately $1 billion in revenue each year, this award-winning company has been recognized for its fast growth for the past several years. They are hiring a Senior Accountant that will play a critical role on their corporate accounting team.
In addition to the core accounting responsibilities, this Senior Accountant will be heavily involved in various lease accounting functions and will help inform business decisions from a financial perspective. This role is budgeted up to a $90,000 base salary with a competitive bonus. Senior Accountant Responsibilities: Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet analyses Perform month-end close responsibilities, including account reconciliations Support internal and external audits Own, report, maintain and file/pay property accounting functions to include rent, property taxes and sales taxes Maintain amortization and reporting for various assets Drive continuous improvements in corporate accounting processes Senior Accountant Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably out of a large company Prior lease accounting experience preferred Highly motivated and deadline driven
