Role Title: Security Engineer I/II
Compensation: $80k-$100K (DOE)

Who We Are: We are a Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) and managed security distributor that partners with cyber insurance carriers to create intelligence-driven solutions that address every facet of cyber risk for partners and customers.
Position Overview: The Security Engineer will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and operational security of the company's infrastructure. This includes developing, monitoring, and analyzing security software, hardware, and networks. The Security Engineer will also lead security initiatives, support incident response activities, and manage security processes to protect the company's sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor security systems, software, and networks. Develop and deploy security solutions to protect networks and systems from unauthorized access and cyber-attacks. Restore client systems and data to a better state than it was found Perform vulnerability and risk assessments, and recommend improvements to security architecture. Analyze security incidents, investigate their root cause, and assist in the development of corrective actions. Implement security best practices and standards. Monitor security alerts and reports, and respond to security incidents. Document security processes, procedures, and standards. Stay up to date on security trends and technologies. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in security engineering or related field Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.). Knowledge of some or all of the following: Firewalls Proxy's Network Architecture Design Privileged Account Management Endpoint Security Platforms Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) Security Automation Toolsets Python and PowerShell Active Directory and Identity Platforms Endpoint Hardening Windows and Linux system administration Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Security related certifications Data gathering, systems, and process automation/orchestration via Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or other scripting languages Experience with CIS and AWS/Azure security frameworks Industry standard knowledge of SANS Top 20, PCI DSS, NIST 800 Series, etc. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
