Secondary School Social Worker

AnthroMed Education is  currently hiring a social worker for the one of our amazing charter school partners. This position is in one K-12 building, with several other social workers on site! You would be working with GenEd and SPED students. 
 
Position Title: School Social Worker
Grade Level: 7-11th grade 
Compensation:  Full Salary paid weekly (school year salary or 52 week salary!) $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience

Support:  AnthroMed Education has a wonderful LCSW Director of our Social Work services offering LCSW Supervision on dedicated caseload support through the school year. 
School Social Worker Requirements: Master's (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work LMSW license eligible in the State of Michigan School Social Work Approval Form (ss310). Preferred experience in a K-12 setting School Social Worker Duties: Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions and push into classrooms to promote Social and Emotional Learning Create lesson plans for SEL learning and other interventions by partnering with teachers. Promote a school climate and culture conducive to student learning. Utilize effective practices that provide for safe environments and supportive relationships. Create IEPs, FBAs/BIPs Provide advocacy, child welfare, and case management services to students. Assess, identify and provide clinical interventions to students with emotional, social, attendance and/or behavioral concerns within the general education population. Perform consultations with classroom teachers and be a resource for school site personnel on mental health and social/emotional issues that may affect classroom performance. Coordinate, develop and facilitate professional development for teachers, staff and administrators in the area of social/emotional learning, self-care and trauma sensitive schools.
