We are currently seeking an After School Program Coordinator to oversee the administration and successful execution of our after-school activities.
Job Summary:
The After School Program Coordinator is a dynamic and pivotal role responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our after-school offerings. This includes program planning, staff supervision, student safety, and communication with parents and school officials. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, has excellent organizational skills, and is adept at creating a welcoming and productive environment for students.
Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and oversee daily after-school activities to ensure a diverse and engaging program for students. Coordinate with teachers and external vendors to provide a range of activities, including academic support, sports, arts, and special interest clubs. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to meet student needs and program goals. Manage program staff, including hiring, training, and providing ongoing support and supervision. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a secure environment for all participants. Develop and manage the program budget, including tracking expenditures and optimizing resource allocation. Foster strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on program developments and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Collaborate with school administrators to align after-school activities with school objectives and policies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational program administration or coordination, preferably in an after-school setting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on engaging with children and their families. Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative educational programs. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and program management software. Must pass a comprehensive background check.
