They are hiring for a Lead Scheduler to support with a confidential mega project in Mississippi - you do not need to be based locally but must be open to regular travel to the site.

Experience creating the baseline schedule and amending it for large-scale construction projects is ideal.

Key Responsibilities
Schedule Development:
Develop comprehensive project schedules in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Utilize scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) to create detailed schedules that reflect project scope, activities, durations, and dependencies.

Schedule Maintenance:
Regularly update and maintain project schedules to reflect actual progress, changes, and adjustments.
Monitor schedule performance and analyze variances against planned milestones and deliverables.

Schedule Analysis and Optimization:
Conduct schedule analysis and simulations to identify critical paths, resource constraints, and opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with project teams to explore alternative scheduling scenarios and evaluate their impact on project duration and cost.

Schedule Integration:
Ensure alignment and integration of project schedules with other project management tools and systems, such as cost management, risk management, and document control.

Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and distribute regular schedule reports, including progress updates, performance metrics, and forecasts.
Present schedule data and analysis to project teams, senior management, and clients, providing insights into project status and trends.

Training and Mentoring:
Provide training and guidance to project team members on schedule development, maintenance, and analysis best practices.
