What you'll doThe Scheduling Engineer is responsible for the timing of design and installations related to the Scout factory in South Carolina. The Scheduling Engineer will report to the Director Plant Construction.Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:Manage the timing of multiple contracts with full responsibility for developing the overall project schedule, tracking design and execution progress, developing measures to mitigate delays and reporting project statusServe as the lead project scheduler on all installations for main buildings (Press-Shop, Body-Shop, Paint-Shop, Assembly-Shop, Central Building etc.) and auxiliary buildings (guard house, tank farm, fire station, recycling center, truck control center, utility building, substation, etc.)Facilitate resolutions to complex construction projects related issues, disputes and disagreements for the timing of scope to be built by the government and maintaining governmental relationsMaintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulationsCreate, review, and analyze regular reports on project construction schedule to identify the best course of action throughout the projectDevelop and maintain cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders (factory and equipment planning, IT, HR, production, government institutions, contractors, construction firms, etcLocation & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role is based out of a Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina.
