Provides student and enrollment analysis to colleges to help build best scheduling practices Participates in the analysis and design of current and new systems/products. Involved in quality assurance of course schedule to comply with university policy. Assists with technical problems and finds solutions. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES: 40% - Essential - Data and Analytics : Analyzes student and enrollment data to determine classroom and course seat needs to provide accurate projections and information to departments and colleges. Assists college coordinators with gap analyses. Uses data visualization tools to assist in the development of dashboards to be included in the scheduling website. Monitors data website for accuracy. Works closely with the Assistant Registrar for Scheduling and Registration to develop and maintain registration and enrollment data dashboards by providing user training and proper security access. 40% - Essential - University Collaboration: Serves as the liaison between the Registrar's Office and the college scheduling coordinators to provide course and enrollment data and scheduling policy updates. Assist with the gap analyses for course offering each semester. Regularly meets with the college scheduling coordinators to encourage cross-college collaboration throughout the scheduling process. Monitors curriculum changes for impacts on degree progression and course offerings. Ability to communicate data and information in a clear and concise manner. 20% - Essential - System Support and Quality Assurance: Assists in the implementation and management of course scheduling and analytics software. Works within the Scheduling Team in the Registrar's Office in maintaining accuracy of University systems. Serves as the backup to the Scheduling Coordinator in managing the classroom scheduling software. Provides support and troubleshoots technical issues for Banner, iROAR, 25Live and other scheduling systems. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education - High School Diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A Bachelor's Degree in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience.
Experience - 1 year of experience in computer system management and data analytics.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Education - Bachelor's Degree
Experience - Prefer experience in higher education and data analytics/visualization.
