As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionAs aConstruction Project Planner/SchedulerwithTurner & Townsendyou will support our clients by developing and defining their project goals and objectives, and creating master plans that include timelines, required resources, the order of needed tasks, and the responsibilities of each project team member. You are the face of our company and as such must represent our company well by being professional and motivated to exceed client expectations.The Scheduler will be in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and working experience in the Mining or Petrochemical industry.Responsibilities:Display and champion the Core Values of Turner & Townsend and its clients.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external teams.Ensure compliance with Tuner & Townsend's Control Corporate Guidelines and Standards.Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible.Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor to provide guidance and recommendations for the project.Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action.Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.Maintain a record of scope changes, trends, and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule.Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule.Be fully familiar with the use and purpose of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS); utilize assigned WBS in developing schedules.Coordinate with other disciplines and functions to collect all necessary data on scope, durations, milestones, etc. to prepare and maintain accurate schedules including a portfolio level schedule.Develop or assist in the development of Home Office and Construction schedules.Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff.Other duties as assigned.Travel Required: 25%.QualificationsAt least 10 years in Petrochem or Mining capital project work.Expertise using Primavera P6 and / or MS Project.Bachelor's degree (preferably Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field) is a plus but not necessary.Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.Prior field work is a plus.Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.Local candidates preferred, if not local, must be relocatable (relocation assistance provided).Additional Information*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs.Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
