Summary
The Satellite Consultant IV will conduct virtual and in-home visits to provide mentoring, support and resources. Schedule: Part Time (20 hours/week) Pay: $27.92 an hour Accreditation Consultant for Family Child Care, Early Childhood Education Programs?Statewide Duties
Conduct visits once a quarter (or more often if needed) to monitor provider compliance with Satellite Accreditation Standards and provide support. Accredit/reaccredit providers once a year. Offer technical assistance, support, program recommendations, and training recommendations as needed to help providers improve the quality of care. Develop and present group professional development opportunities and facilitate support groups for family child care providers. Take on leadership roles for Satellite projects and shared-responsibility leadership within the Satellite team. Represent Satellite on committees and with professional organizations. Participate on the Shine Youngstar Coaching team.  Requirements Frequent daytime travel throughout Wisconsin Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent Extensive knowledge of child care program operations and needs A minimum of 7 years? experience in regulated child care programs. 1 year of experience in family child care programs required.
