Job Title: SAP FICO Analyst Location: Birmingham, AL (Local s Only) Job Type: Contract (W2) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ERP Analyst specializing in SAP FICO to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets, and Procurement modules within SAP.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret and deliver reports and analysis related to AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Procurement processes. Identify data points requiring tracking to enhance business performance and efficiency. Participate in functional and business requirements gathering sessions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Provide guidance on systems and technical aspects to identify and develop new opportunities for clients, contributing to the development of Business Cases. Collaborate with design, development, and solution management teams to implement SAP FICO solutions. Interface with both SAP and non-SAP technical teams for the specification and development of customized objects. Develop and execute test plans for functional unit tests, regression tests, and system integration tests to ensure solution quality and reliability. Provide support for Master Data and applications within assigned areas, including integration points with other business application modules. Identify, resolve, and document root causes of recurring production support issues to ensure system stability and reliability. Qualifications: 14+ years of SAP FI/CO experience with at least three full-lifecycle SAP implementations. Proven experience working with SAP FICO modules, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Procurement. Experience and technical implementations using SAP ECC 6.0 or S4 HANA. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights. Experience participating in requirements gathering and solution design sessions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Solid understanding of SAP integration points and system architecture. Development experience in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Reports & Workflow) Experience in developing and executing test plans for SAP FICO solutions. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production support issues efficiently. SAP certification(s) preferred.
