Job summary
This is a night shift 12-hr position working 7pm – 7amResponsible for performing cleaning/sanitation duties in the plantPerform tasks as determined by the rodent and insect control schedules

Responsibilities
• Performs cleaning and sanitation activities as determined by the Master Sanitation Schedule• Responsible to keep accurate written records and complete reports• Works at heights to plant ceiling and exterior silos• Works within enclosed and/or confined spaces, must be able to obtain a Confined Space Authorized Certification• Works in temperature extremes, indoors and outdoors• Operates several types of powered industrial equipment• Performs tasks as determined by the rodent and insect control schedules• Performs sanitation audits or inspections as assigned• Responsible to disassemble and reassemble equipment for required cleanings• Completes tasks assigned as needed
Requirements
• The ideal candidate for this role will have 3+ years' experience working in sanitation in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment• Someone with the ability to accomplish most tasks with minimal supervision• Self-directed and has proven leadership skills with working with employees and contractors• A strong attention to detail and a safety mindset is critical in this role• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of forklift experience• Basic knowledge of computers• Experience with SAP• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to obtain forklift certification
