We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Sales Representative Commercial, specializing in Building Services & Construction. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to thrive in the vibrant Richmond market.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in various sectors, including General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, Mechanical, Facility Management, and Restoration contractors.
Focus on both acquiring new accounts and nurturing existing ones within the Commercial sectors, spanning Construction, Contracting, Events, and Facility Management.
Strategically identify and pursue sales opportunities by utilizing a combination of phone outreach and in-person visits within the designated territory.
Develop and execute an Annual Territory Sales Plan to achieve revenue, profitability, and market growth targets.
Provide accurate quotes, negotiate contract terms, and ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
Showcase product features and benefits to potential clients through product demonstrations and presentations.
Maintain detailed records of sales transactions and expenses, adhering to specified deadlines.
Collaborate with Rental Centre operations to streamline sales processes and ensure seamless project execution.
Liaise with internal operational teams to align project specifications with customer requirements and timelines.
Offer technical sales support for power and temperature applications, drawing upon job-related manuals and expertise.
Strive for continuous improvement and drive significant improvements in business outcomes.
Qualifications:
General understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and/or oil-free air compressors.
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the industrial or construction sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
