Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for an experienced Cannabis Retail Sales Manager for a Retail Store in the Vancouver, Washington, Area.  

Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing () is the original, professional staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.

This leader will be responsible for quarterbacking and running the Sales floor from budtenders and inventory to cash handling and sales training for a cannabis dispensary. You will work with the General Manager to help coordinate sales and ensure adequate stocking in front and back of house. You're known for your ability to motivate a retail sales team and leading by example when it comes to customer service. You'll work with the General Manager to help refine policies and procedures that increase operational effectiveness and maximize the store's performance. You will ensure metrics are met and that you are always striving for continuous improvement. You should be compliance-focused, while also creating a customer-focused environment. You will have the opportunity to guide a team, who share your passion for cannabis. If you are a community minded, results-driven, retail management professional with experience leading a cannabis retail environment, where you were using your marketing/promotional skills to bring in customers and you excel at motivating, coaching, training, and mentoring staff; then this could be the right position for you!

You should have 2+ years of experience building retail teams focused on continuous improvement and providing an exceptional customer experience. 1+ year should be as a Store Manager, Sales Floor Manager, Buyer, or Shift Lead. Ideally this was for a licensed, regulated Cannabis retail store or dispensary. You have experience training retail store workers on sales techniques, and it is preferred that you have experience managing all aspects of a retail store from inventory and vendor relationships to promotion and pricing. You also have experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, POS systems, and Seed to Sale systems. You understand that this position will likely include working nights, weekends and some Holidays. Environment/Physical Requirements:

You will be working primarily in a d ispensary setting. The working area may be odorous at times and loud. This position involves frequent contact with staff, vendors, and customers and may include dealing with law enforcement and occasional State inspectors. You should be able to constantly move and transport dispensary products/totes up to 30 pounds throughout the retail store. You have the ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, and walk as required, which could be up to 10 hours/day. You must be able to remain in a stationary position when speaking with customers and when operating the POS system.  

Compensation: $45,000-$55,000/year
