Cancer cases are rising each year. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime and many are being diagnosed at younger ages. Our world-leading AI-enabled software helps identify people at risk of breast and other cancers to get them on personalized care paths that include additional imaging, genetic testing, risk-reducing medication, surgical intervention, or lifestyle changes.

Purpose

Volpara's Sales Executive is a self-motivated and tenacious individual who wants to win. They have a passion for consultative sales and a desire to make a significant impact in the fight against cancer. They have experience selling SaaS or other software/IT solutions in the breast imaging, genetic testing, oncology or Women's Health market segments. They have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and a proven track record of success.

Location

Western USA (CO, TX, UT, AZ, NM, OR, WA, NV, ID, MT, WY, CA, OK, KS, and NE).

Responsibilities

Financial Performance

Prospect, nurture and drive sales opportunities across all products in our portfolio in an assigned territory (approx. 6 states) as well as working collaboratively with our Sales and Customer Success teams to grow the existing customer portfolio.

Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals and targets.

Establish and continuously develop relationships with C-suite, departmental and technical decision makers with customers, and key opinion leaders within the assigned territory.

Maintain strong after-sale customer relationships, cultivating positive references and encouraging engagement in the Volpara Hive customer community.

Product & Market Expertise

Maintain mastery of product and clinical knowledge necessary to demonstrate and differentiate our products in a clear and compelling way, optimally handle objections and develop strategies for prospective customers to achieve success with their programs and patients.

Track and communicate market trends to/from the field including competitor data and develop and lead effective counterstrategies.

Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and support contract negotiations.

Differentiate our products throughout the various stages of the sales process and actively support the customer through their decision-making process towards a successful outcome for the customer and Volpara Health.

Experience & Qualifications

Purpose driven and passionate about making an impact on patients and health of women and families

Deep curiosity and a desire to learn about AI and healthcare and continue to grow in the sales field

5 + years as a Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, Clinical Sales Specialist, Sales Executive or Sales Manager in the healthcare IT market

Proven success selling SaaS or other software/IT solutions in the breast imaging, genetic testing, oncology or Women's Health market segments

Clinical experience in breast imaging, genetic testing or oncology market segments is desirable

Models the "consultative sales" approach and recognized by others for excellent market development, selling, presentation, listening, negotiation and closing skills, including the ability to articulate product value propositions and differentiators vs competitive products

Proven and progressive experience in engagement and communication with both C-suite and technical decision makers i.e. CEOs, Strategic Planning Directors, CIOs, nursing staff, medical specialty staff (Genetics, Radiology, IT, etc.)

Flexibility and adaptability to change

Proven ability to take initiative and work independently, while being an effective team player on a remote team

Systems and Software - proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word and CRM (preferably Salesforce)

Ability to energize, develop and build relationships at all levels within an organization?and with potential customers and move confidently between digital and non-digital settings

Able to travel domestically for events/customer meetings as required

Valid driver's license and driving record that meets safe and satisfactory criteria

Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required, except in limited circumstances where a legally recognized medical or religious exemption may be able to be accommodated.

Compensation & Benefits

The total compensation

package

for this role

includes a base salary range of $95,000 to

$115,000 plus a

generous commission plan

.

The final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory / geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance versus KPIs.
