Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in providing engineering support and training to our internal team and representatives. Collaborating closely with our President, Engineering Manager, and Territory Managers, you'll contribute to every aspect of our operations.
Your Duties Will Include:
Evaluating customer orders and providing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs, optimizing product application, space utilization, and airflow efficiency.
Offering technical and sales support for our products, fostering brand awareness among our valued customers and clients.
Assisting customers with submittals and quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up on inquiries.
Developing engineering tools to enhance our product offerings and streamline processes.
Attending sales and trade shows, staying abreast of market trends and industry developments.
Providing technical support for our products and CADMEP software.
Representing our company at industry standards organizations, such as Ashrae, to drive advancements in our field.
Supporting our leadership team and Territory Managers as needed to achieve our business objectives.
Experience & Competencies:
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and motivate others to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and overcoming obstacles.
Deep knowledge of HVAC products, applications, and performance measurement methods.
Familiarity with construction industry processes, including bidding, negotiation, and interpreting engineering drawings.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for training and educating others.
Prior experience using software to track orders and customer information.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
