Main Responsibilities:
Leads the Quoting and Estimating Team on project scope, facilitating design and process ideas, and pricing
Leads solution development efforts to meet customer demands and coordinating a supportive cross functional team
Accountable for meeting departmental objectives and continuous improvement that enhances our ability to effectively satisfy internal and external Customer needs
Work with MPE team to deliver customer quotes that fulfil their needs
Lead the consult on

developing/modifying

design for lower costs and ease of manufacturability with input from design and production engineering and recommend alternative processes based on part characteristics and volume
Work with supply chain team to price and source existing and new materials
Maintain routine communication with customer project status which includes, but is not limited to, product transfer, component product development and tooling implementations
Coordinate a cross-functional internal team to monitor tooling process, tooling try-out, and the pre-production process
Work with customer to define and understand their required first article approval process
Drive internal team to support a successful product approval process
Lead the Quick Response Office Cell (Q-ROC) to transition product information from estimating to new product implementation.
Determines process for manufacturing components
Combine multiple level of bill of materials and complex assembly operations to create a quote
Engages in effective two-sided discovery through great questioning and attentive listening.
Responsible for managing CRM content in relation to the quoting process
Travel to customers when needed, and host customer visits.
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related Engineering field preferred
Experience in Manufacturing process implementation, engineering design or technical sales
Experience in quoting and estimating sheet metal or high level assemblies
Experience in CAD software and the ability to manipulate and modify models

$80,000-$105,000 Annual Salary
