Design Group is recruiting for a Sales Coordinator. This position will work remotely.
The Sales Coordinator will support sales reps, managers, and key account support teams for Design Groups Upscale brands. This person is responsible for calculating commissions and chargebacks for sales reps, maintaining a product database, assisting sales reps with samples and other sales materials, and creating and updated various sales related reports.
Self-starters seeking varied work will be excited about this role. This person will coordinate sampling and displays for trade shows, for example, the New York Stationery Show, and travel to shows as needed. Additionally, this individual will review product sales and distribute monthly best sellers list, slow selling lists, etc., work with sales managers and design to coordinate email blasts and mailings, work with marketing manager for images and samples needed for publications and press releases, ensure website is kept up to date with current sales information, and work with IT on continued automation development.
Candidates must posses a high school diploma. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, particularly in Business or Marketing, is a plus. In order to be successful in this role, candidates should have 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate proficiency level in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to learn new software quickly is required. Qualified candidates will be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and communicate with various levels of the organization. Our ideal candidate must be able to lift and carry light loads of paper, files, and packages.
