Responsibilities
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner• Maintain regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance and grooming• Answer telephones, transcribe and distribute sales meeting minutes, input data into the GRC database• Open and distribute mail, control purchase orders and check requests• Complete month-end reports for the Director of Sales and file all pertinent correspondence• Type all correspondence related to sales and catering, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field• College coursework in a related field is helpful• Flexible and long hours may be required• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally• Friendly and service-oriented demeanor• Strong organizational and communication skills
