Our Sales Associates play an important role in customer satisfaction by Amazing Every Customer, Every Time. Floor associates are responsible for engaging with the customer, determining their needs, and fulfilling the "Helpful" promise. Sales Associate is a great career choice for those who prefer a hands-on, fast-paced work environment where they are regularly able to interact with people.
Day-to-Day Role Responsibilities:
-Welcome and greet Customers throughout the store
-Help Customers find the products they need for their project.
-Advise customers on tools, hardware, and materials needed, and procedures to follow to complete tasks the customer wishes to perform.
-Inform customers about the quality of tools, hardware, and equipment, and demonstrates use.
-Performs related duties, for example, estimating the amount of paint required to cover a given area, mixing paint, and cutting screens, glass, wire, and keys.
-Assist with keeping our store merchandised and stocked
-Help to create a team environment throughout the store
-Other functions as assigned by the Store Manager or manager on duty.
-Ensure that Ace On The Lake is the Helpful Place for Bemidji and surrounding communities
Work Requirements:
-Stand, sit, and/or walk continuously with or without reasonable accommodation and perform job functions for a full
shift with meal break
-Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb (ladders, stairs), balance, and/or crouch on a daily basis to
accomplish work activities
-Minimally must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
