Sales Application Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct product training and seminars among original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), engineers, designers, mechanical contractors and building owners.
Perform unit selections.
Recommend continuous improvement and innovation that will maintain market and product leadership.
Develop strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
Provide technical and product support to customers and managers, identifying and resolving customer challenges.
Engage in problem solving by performing system analyses, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
Perform miscellaneous engineering tasks assigned by your manager.

Job Specifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Strong public speaking or presentation skills.
3-5 years of professional experience. Prefer HVAC-R experience.
High organizational and communicative skills.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Powerpoint, World, etc.).
Readiness to travel.
Experience working with Application Engineering, Design Engineering, OEM, or Component Supplier is a plus.
