Job Description Full-Time Sales Agronomist We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Agronomist with a specialized focus on seed sales and management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agronomy, excellent sales skills, and a deep understanding of seed technology and products.
This position will be full time, normal hours will be 8-5 Monday through Friday, additional hours and weekend hours are mandatory during peak seasons.

Market and sell seeds, fertilizers and crop protection products, with a specialized focus on seed sales and management Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve seed sales targets. Provide expert agronomic advice to farmers and clients on seed selection, planting, and crop management. Communicate new product offerings and pricing information to clients Visit farms to visit new and existing customers Manage and track inventory, bookings, completing claims and invoices Build and maintain customer relationships with emphasis on customer service Follow industry news and stay informed about new products and research Scout fields and collect soil samples Performing cleaning and maintenance to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and co-workers Complete all safety reports and required record keeping Seed Treating, maintain and keep clean seed treating facilities. Operate wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers and similar equipment Help with grain receiving and other departments as needed Requirements Degree in agriculture or equivalent work experience in an agronomy position Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling, climbing/descending stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs unassisted Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Must be able to work extended hours beyond those considered normal when required. Clean Driving record is required Class A CDL preferred
