Summary The Toyoda Gosei Group is a leading global manufacturer of rubber and plastic automotive components, safety systems and LEDs. Toyoda Gosei North America (headquartered in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Sales Account Manager in the Toyota Interior/Exterior Plastics. The Sales Account Manager functions with a high degree of autonomy, and is responsible for providing professional level customer account management and sales for Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA), and TGNA Manufacturing Companies (NAMCs).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Manage account(s) internally and externally to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure profitabilityContribute to the development of sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets and support company visionAssess market conditions for the development of price setting strategiesCoordinate commercial activities throughout the organization; such as engineering changes, quality improvements, quoting, negotiations and reportingManage internal/external data, maintain internal sales systems, and track & report changes to leadershipDevelop external customer relationships through effective communication, courtesy, and exceeding expectationsDrive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement effortsFunction in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork is critical to successQualifications and Competencies Bachelor degree in business or engineering is requiredMinimum of three years of experience in engineering or sales is requiredProficiency using Microsoft Office Suites is requiredAbility to consistently meet deadlines is requiredEffective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation and written communication skills are requiredAbility to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers is requiredEffective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills is requiredAbility to multi-task and prioritize customer deliverables is requiredAbility to analyze financial data is requiredExperience in a manufacturing organization is preferredBenefits (subject to eligibility): Hybrid Work Style (if eligible)Insurance (Health, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Program)Company Paid STD, LTD, Life, and AD&DGenerous Employer Contribution to HSAShort and Long Term Disability401K Company MatchPaid Time Off/HolidaysFree Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)Reimbursement Programs (Cellphone, Tuition, Vehicle, etc.)
