KRGV-TV, the ABC affiliate in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, is currently seeking: Sales Account Executive KRGV Channel 5 News and KRGV 5.2 Noticias RGV is looking for a Sales Account Executive who will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with key clients or accounts for KRGV. The Sales Account Executive reports directly to the Local Sales Manager and General Sales Manager. We are the largest news operation in South Texas. Our newscast produces 67 hours of news every week in both English and Spanish.
This position is Full-Time .
Job Responsibilities: Consistently prospect for and generate new business revenue Build prospect lists with qualified leads and close sale Maintain a strong pipeline of engaged and potential customer Identify prospects and paid client opportunities for KRGV's local lifestyle show, Take 5 Meet and exceed all revenue goal Develop client proposals and produce campaigns for clients based on their needs. Engage customers in the full product suite of KRGV, which includes KRGV Channel 5, NRGV Noticias RGV, NRGV Somos El Valle, and KRGV Digital. Job Requirements: Bilingual is a plus Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or a related field is preferred. Prior digital sales or other related sales experience is preferred Wide Orbit, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive experience is preferred Knowledge of general marketing practices and exceptional communication skills Negotiation skills are required Attention to detail, willingness to learn new skills and software Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing priorities Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines KRGV (ABC) is located in the warm and beautiful Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
