Responsibilities
• Assist with developing facility specific procedures• Keep Safety Engineers and site management informed of safety items• Audit site for safety and health compliance• Promote Near Miss and Incident reporting• Investigate accidents and incidents• Train teammates on safety related items• Analyze key safety metrics• Make field visits to coach teammates and conduct inspections• Enforce safety rules and develop good safety attitudes• Support Workers Compensation claims
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health & Safety or 2-3 years of operation experience• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel• Experience in a Construction or manufacturing safety environment• Ability to work outdoors• Experience using personal computers• Bilingual in English and Spanish• Ability to travel 20% to other locations
