Safety Manager, Manufacturing/Distribution

This role can be located in either Hackensack, MN or Clarkson, KY and will be a full time role, base salary + full benefits. 
We are a 150 person manufacturer and distributor in the agriculture industry with a vast catalog of products and a 40 year track record of success! 
What you will be doing:
Drive safety initiatives and a culture of safe work activities and processes across multiple locations with emphasis in our production facilities. overseeing the safety programs and policies at our multi-location manufacturing and distribution company The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, experience working in manufacturing environments, and a proven track record of implementing effective safety initiatives. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at all company locations to identify potential hazards and risks. Collaborate with department managers to address safety concerns and develop solutions to mitigate risks. Provide safety training to employees on topics such as machine safety, Lock-out/Tag-out, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response procedures. Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Required:
3+ years in a safety manager/coordinator role Manufacturing environment experience Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other state and federal safety standards. Bonus points:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field and experience. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is a plus. Benefits Vacation/PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k
