Description Basic Purpose of Position We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Safety member to join our warehouse team. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and visitors. Responsibilities will include maintaining safety records, conducting safety inspections, coordinating safety training programs, and assisting in the development of safety policies and procedures.
Basic Position Duties As accurate safety records, including incident reports, safety training records, and safety inspection reports.Participate in regular safety inspections of the warehouse facility to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures, including emergency response protocols.Collaborate with warehouse management to address safety concerns and make recommendations for improvements.Participate in the implementation and promote 6S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety practices and procedures.Pay meticulous attention to safety details, such as equipment inspections, safety signage, and hazard identification.Assist in maintaining safety standards and conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Report any accidents or incidents in the workplace and support the development of policies and procedures.Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of safety programs.Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.Willingness to learn and grow in the field of safetyThe above is not intended to be an all-inclusive job description but describes the general nature and level of work to be performed by the individual assigned to this position.The department manager may at times change or add to the above duties.
