Job Summary: This position will be a desk position responsible for the implementation and support of the Safety Program at PSC Louisville facilities and OSHA Compliance and Claims. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Keeps current on new ideas and techniques in the accident prevention and risk management. Maintains all records. Performs accident investigations, monitors and processes worker's compensation claims, and coordinates loss prevention activities. Continually review our processes from the lens of safety to improve operations, decrease safety concerns and work cooperatively with local safety committees. Interprets rules, regulations and procedures for management and employees. Reports to the Safety Manager, and coordinates and supervises OSHA and insurance audits. Administers new safety orientation. Required Qualifications & Experiences: 2+ years of experience with Environmental and OSHA regulations in a manufacturing environment. Highly organized and meticulous. Above average computer skills including MS Office 365. Excellent leadership and critical thinking traits. Knowledge of current and pending OSHA regulations. Must submit to a drug screen and background check. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use handle material and machinery. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, walk, and reach above head, and climb or balance.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required including color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
