This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops BlueOrigin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin'smission of having millions of people living and working in space, we arebuilding sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo fromEarth to the lunar surface.
As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists, engineers, anddesigners, you will support systems engineering for crew and life supportsystems. As the crew and life support systems Safety and Reliability SystemsEngineer you will be expected to lead and support various roles includingFunctional decomposition, and studies to ensure optimization of thedesign, requirements management and decomposition, integration,verification and validation. Your attention to detail will be used formanaging requirements development, documenting interfaces between elementsand disciplines and drive design maturation.
Additionally, this role requires understanding and supporting requirementsanalysis and traceability, functional analysis, systems analysis, safetyanalysis, technical performance monitoring, developing strategies andapproaches for specialty engineering (operability, reliability,maintainability, supportability) and system product life cycle processes.You will also support the alignment and consistent implementation of SLDVehicle system engineering practices for system to lower-level program tiersas well as across program systems. You will also help develop health metricsto support insight into program health and tracking to major objectives. Youwill also participate in gated reviews. You should be able to understand anddocument system behaviors with architecture. You will play a key role indeveloping Blue Moon Lunar Lander (Link: ) that will return humans tothe Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of Earth.
