Summary:
We're seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting all technical systems, including software, hardware, accessories, and providing exceptional end-user support and service. Your primary duties will involve planning, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network cabling and infrastructure. Additionally, you'll perform computer technician and IT helpdesk functions, ensuring seamless operations across our business systems, hardware, software, telecommunications, audiovisual equipment, and network services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform work related to IT operations, including network cable installation (Ethernet and fiber), termination, and testing for successful connections.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, such as cable toners, network analyzers, punch-down tools, RJ45 crimping tools, and fiber cleaning kits.
- Examine and repair malfunctioning network cabling.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot VoIP phones using Cisco Call Manager.
- Assist end-users with accessing VPN, troubleshooting network account issues, and MFA access.
- Support IT Administrators, Engineers, and Management with incident management, projects, and operational tasks.
- Troubleshoot computer software and hardware issues, perform repairs, updates, and scheduled maintenance.
- Install and configure operating systems, business software, and secure end-user computers against cyber threats.
- Install and configure end-user hardware, such as computer towers, monitors, VoIP phones, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Create user network accounts, assign access levels (Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID), Exchange, M365, MFA, and various business systems.
- Support upgrades, troubleshooting, and new installations of hardware and software.
- Resolve end-user application software issues and IT service requests.
- Support IT documentation, policies, procedures, and records.
- Provide technical support to end-users through various communication channels, including phone, email, and web portal.
- Receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve end-user help requests.
- Support hardware and software inventories and asset management.
- Accountable for all assigned projects and tasks.
- Support IT emergencies, standard and non-standard daily operations, recoveries, protocols, and escalation procedures.
- Work effectively with equipment/software vendors.
- Maintain the security, integrity, and compliance of networks and systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical trade school certification (or higher).
- 2+ years of experience working in the IT industry, preferably in a casino/resort environment.
- 1+ year of experience with at least three of the following: hotel management systems, casino management systems, food & beverage management systems, point of sale systems, purchasing and inventory control management systems, accounting systems, and software systems related to casino business operations. Experience with InfoGenesis, Visual One, and OASIS 360 is a plus.
- Solid understanding of identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing Layer 1 network issues (Layer 2 experience desired).
- Experience with T568b wiring standard, terminating shielded and unshielded network cable with RJ45 ends and keystone jacks.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft email systems.
- Availability for 24-hour on-call support.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure with strong multi-tasking skills.
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (preferred).
- A+, Network+, or similar certifications (preferred).
- Preference for candidates with tribal affiliation and bicultural experience.
- Ability to meet and maintain licensure and CJIS training requirements.
- Negative drug/alcohol test result.
