Job summary
The Room Attendant at Fairfield Inn & Suites - Charlotte University Research Park is responsible for creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for our guests through providing high-quality housekeeping services.This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry located in xxx, North Carolina.The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation of $15 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities
• Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and attention to detail• Change bed linens, vacuum carpets, dust and polish furniture, and replenish bathroom and room amenities• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times• Report any maintenance issues or damages in the guest rooms to the Housekeeping Manager• Follow established procedures for the storage and disposal of lost and found items• Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry items• Assist with the laundering of guest room linens and towels• Maintain a neat and organized work area at all times• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient workflow
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor• Physically able to push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time• Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
