Roll Packer Position Summary:
This position is responsible for packing rolled finished product to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.
Second Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm Third Shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am Key Responsibilities: Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, PPE, and other safe work practices Packing rolls of paper after machined Track and label finished products manually and electronically Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and maintenance to resolve issues Set priorities to match the importance of job assignments Participate in continuous improvement projects and team Physical Requirements:
Employees must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Standing up to 8+ hours a day, twisting, bending and squatting,
Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Experience: This role requires basic computer proficiencies, attention to detail, a desire to work in a collaborative team atmosphere, and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
