JOB DESCRIPTION Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Robot Operator in Wellford. Our client is a successful tool manufacturing company. The Robot Operator is responsible for Setup and daily operation of robotic welder plus implement ways to fully utilize robotic welders to highest functionality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Thorough comprehension and proficient execution of software required to operate robotic welders. Accurately interpret engineering drawings and program robots to match drawing specifications. Execute programmed routines and continuously monitor robot output to meet production demands outlined in daily assignments by the Shop Supervisor. Ensure that the output of robotic welders adheres to drawing tolerances, identifying and marking areas requiring touch-up. Maintain an accurate inventory of parts within the designated basket. Perform routine maintenance tasks on robotic welders to sustain optimal performance. Communicate part quantities to the Shop Supervisor and update production documentation accordingly. Promptly report any issues concerning fixtures to the Shop Supervisor for resolution. Adhere to established maintenance schedules for operator maintenance activities. Proactively manage the inventory of consumables such as tips, liners, gas, and wire, ordering replacements as necessary and performing changeovers. Qualifications:
Previous experience operating robotic welders is preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure output meets specified tolerances. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records. Effective communication skills to liaise with supervisors and other team members.
