Responsibilities
• Hauling or towing materials, equipment, tools• Performing road maintenance duties for street signs, asphalt, concrete, and traffic control• Operating a semi-tractor or ten-wheel dump truck to transport heavy equipment• Performing weather-related flood control work and snow removal duties
Requirements
• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment• Possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A with a Trailer, Tanker, and Air-brake endorsement at time of hire or within six months of hire) for Road Operations Specialist• 3 years of experience• Experience on three of the following pieces of equipment: loader, backhoe, grader, or dozer• Minimum of 600 hours of operating time• Must meet the minimum qualifications of a Road Operations Specialist• Tooele County is an equal opportunity employer
