Responsibilities
• Record patients' medical history and symptoms• Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results• Operate medical equipment• Administer treatment and medications• Help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation• Establish a care plan or contribute to an existing plan• Teach patients and their families how to manage their illnesses or injuries• Provide direction to licensed practical nurses and nursing aides• Support efforts to advance clinical knowledge and skills• Precept new hire staff and students
Requirements
• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing• 10 months med-surg or acute specialty setting experience• 1 year RN experience for all Float Positions• Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
